Koufonissi Island, right off the coast of Crete, doesn’t even have a regular service from the mainland anymore, meaning that only those who have rented sailboats can go there. Koufonissi doesn’t offer developed beaches with sun beds and cocktail service, but it’s a favorite destination for those looking to get back to nature and simply enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the sea and sand.
